How to color Scarecrow and Pumpkins (with suggested palette)
Colors that work well together — tap any swatch to copy its hex.
Start with the sky, cloud and birds so the top of the page is settled, then do the picket fence behind the scarecrow. Color his hat, shirt and overalls next, then the four pumpkins along the bottom. Finish with the straw, the patches and the vine leaves. Tap any color below to copy its HEX code.
Additional Coloring Tips
1Stitched patches
Give each patch a different color from the cloth around it and outline the stitch marks with a fine pen.
2Straw tufts
Use short flicking strokes in straw gold at the cuffs and hat so the ends look loose rather than solid.
3Pumpkin row
Alternate the two oranges along the row so the four pumpkins do not blur into one long shape.
