Free Name Coloring Page Generator

Type any name, pick a letter style and a theme, then print a coloring page, a dashed name-tracing practice sheet, or a full class set in one click. Free, no sign-up, no watermarks.

PDF is print-ready. SVG, PNG & JPG convert letters to true outlines (Cricut-friendly).

Made for classrooms and kitchen tables

For teachers

  • Name recognition & letter formation — kids learning to read their own name is a core early-literacy skill, and coloring each letter makes it stick.
  • Practice sheets — the Practice layout prints the name once in solid outline, then in dashed trace rows with handwriting guidelines.
  • Class sets in one click — paste your roster into "Print a whole class" and print a personalized page for every student.
  • Back-to-school — desk name tags, cubby labels, first-week morning work.

For parents

  • Birthday layout — a greeting plus the name, ready for party favors or a card the kids color themselves.
  • Two-name pages — siblings, best friends, or "Mom & Dad".
  • Color on screen — switch to Color mode and tap letters to fill them, no printer needed.
  • Cricut & crafts — the SVG download uses real letter outlines, so it opens cleanly in cutting and design software.

How it works

  1. Type a name and choose a layout — one name, two names, birthday, or a tracing practice sheet.
  2. Pick a style — 10 letter styles, 4 themes (Balloons, Hearts, Party Mix and Stars), thin to thick lines, Letter or A4.
  3. Print or download — print straight from the browser, save as PDF, or download PNG / SVG. Or skip the printer and color right on screen.

Questions

Is this really free?

Yes. Every layout, theme, and download is free, with no sign-up and no watermarks.

Can I use these pages in my classroom?

Yes — print as many copies as you need for your class, homeschool, daycare, library, or therapy practice. The class-set button was built exactly for that.

What are the tracing practice sheets?

Choose the Practice layout, or switch Letters to "Trace (dashed)". Practice sheets show the name once in solid outline, then in dashed letters over handwriting guidelines so kids can trace it several times.

Will the SVG work with my Cricut or Silhouette?

Yes. When you download an SVG or PNG, the letters are converted into real vector outlines rather than live text, so they look the same in cutting and design software — no fonts to install.

What are the best print settings?

Print at 100% scale (not "fit to page") on plain Letter or A4 paper. For crayons and markers, the Medium or Thick line weight is easiest for small hands to stay inside.

Free for personal, classroom, and homeschool use. Made for little hands and busy teachers.
