How to color Halloween Pumpkin (with suggested palette)
Colors that work well together — tap any swatch to copy its hex.
Start with the five pumpkin ribs, working each from top to bottom. Then fill in the thick stem. Save the carved eye, nose, and mouth areas for last so you can decide between black for a cut-out look or warm yellow for a glowing candle effect. Tap any color below to copy its HEX code.
Additional Coloring Tips
1Oval eyes
Each eye has an inner oval inside an outer one; fill the outer ring one color and the inner oval a contrasting shade for a layered, glowing effect.
2Crooked grin
Color the grin area black up to the tooth line, then leave the tooth points orange so they stand out sharply against the dark interior.
3Thick stem
The stem has a few internal crease lines; color it medium brown first, then add a darker line along each crease for a textured, bark-like look.
