How to color Gratitude Tree (with suggested palette)

Colors that work well together — tap any swatch to copy its hex.

Click to copy

Do the trunk and roots first so the tree is standing, then work out along the branches. Color the ten leaves last, and if you are writing on them, put the words down in pencil before any color goes near them. Tap any color below to copy its HEX code.

Additional Coloring Tips

1Blank leaves

Write in pencil first and color lightly over the words, heavy crayon will bury whatever you wrote.

2Leaf order

Grade the colors from red at the top to gold at the bottom so the tree looks like it is turning.

3Roots

Use a darker brown on the roots than the trunk so the tree looks planted rather than propped up.
