How to color Maki Roll Close-Up (with suggested palette)
Colors that work well together — tap any swatch to copy its hex.
Color the wooden stand first so the base is settled, then work through the rolls one at a time from left to right. Fill the outer seaweed ring, then the rice grains, then the fillings in the center. Tap any color below to copy its HEX code.
Additional Coloring Tips
1Rice grains
Leave the oval grains almost white and outline each one lightly, that contrast is what makes the rice look loose.
2Seed strip
Color the small rectangle tan first, then dot the seeds on top with a sharpened pencil so they stay round.
3Wooden stand
Pull a few darker brown lines along the stand to suggest wood grain under the three rolls.
