How to color Chirashi Bowl (with suggested palette)
Colors that work well together — tap any swatch to copy its hex.
Do the wave pattern on the outside of the bowl first, while your hand is fresh, then color the toppings, fish and tamago and roe, before you touch the rice. Leave the grains for last and only tint them, filling them solid will flatten the bowl. Tap any color below to copy its HEX code.
Additional Coloring Tips
1Wave scallops
Alternate two blues through the overlapping scallops so the pattern reads as rows rather than one mass.
2Roe clusters
Touch each bead with orange and leave a white dot on one side, that highlight makes roe look wet.
3Rice grains
Tint the grains with the lightest cream you have and let the white paper do most of the work.
