How to color Cat's Head (with suggested palette)
Colors that work well together — tap any swatch to copy its hex.
Start with the wide open areas of the face and forehead, filling in the base fur color across the whole head. Then work on the ears, using a second shade for the cross-hatched interior. Leave the eyes for last so you can place the irises and pupils with full precision. Tap any color below to copy its HEX code.
Additional Coloring Tips
1Ear cross-hatching
Lay a light rose pink wash over the whole ear interior so the cross-hatch lines show through naturally rather than trying to fill each tiny zone.
2Face contour lines
After filling the main face, go back into the narrow contour zones with a slightly darker shade of the same fur color to suggest fur depth.
3Eyes
Fill the irises with amber green, ring them with dark brown, then add the vertical pupil slit with a fine-tip colored pencil for the cleanest result.
