How to color Swiss Roll with Two Slices (with suggested palette)
Colors that work well together — tap any swatch to copy its hex.
Do the big sponge surfaces first, on the roll and on both slices, so the base color is even everywhere. Add the wavy icing bands next, then the scattered hearts and dots. Save the two spirals for last and work from the outside inward. Tap any color below to copy its HEX code.
Additional Coloring Tips
1Spiral centers
Work from the outside of the swirl inward, alternating sponge and cream, so you never lose the line.
2Scattered hearts
Color every heart the same pink so they read as one decoration instead of random shapes.
3Wavy icing bands
Keep the bands paler than the sponge underneath and the drizzle will look poured on.
