Fill every other cell in the grid with dark gray and leave the rest slightly lighter to create the classic alternating tire tread look.
2Angular body panels
Use a slightly different dark shade on each panel so the geometric cuts read as distinct surfaces rather than one flat mass.
3Sparks and debris
Color the sparks bright yellow and leave thin white highlight lines near the center for a convincing hot-spark effect.
